  • Mx is an open source web-based workbench application mostly of use for biological (evolutionary) systematists. A wiki describing the project can be found here. Aside from a broad range of functionality it has a number of interconnections with other projects and standards including:
    • NeXML formatted export of matrices and trees, with transformations to RDF triples (coded at hackathon)
    • in application searching of Morphbank that allows you to manage and relate images to local data
    • Nexus file import
    • Newick tree import
    • Basic OBO Ontology import and export
    • PhyloWidget integration
