Agenda for Third Meeting, 19 to 22 May, 2008

The second meeting will take place 19 to 22 May at NESCent (arrive Sunday, start Monday morning, finish 3:00 Thursday).

Purpose

The purpose of this meeting is to advance the goals of the working group by focusing on two complementary projects to develop a "central unifying artefact", the nexml project (www.nexml.org) and the CDAO project (www.evolutionaryontology.org).

Monday we will hear talks about progress on these two projects. In the afternoon we will have discussion and then make specific plans on how to use our time here to build on this progress. And then we'll spend Tuesday through Thursday carrying out these plans.

Scattered throughout the meeting, we'll have some talks on related topics: the MIAPE standard, phenotype ontologies, and data repositories.
